A city with some good cultural offerings, good museums,...
A city with some good cultural offerings, good museums, architecture etc. Worth popping into the Tate if you want to see a handful of good works of art and a warehouse full of primary school art projects that didn't quite make the cut for going on the fridge door! I'm too cynical to buy into the "emperor's new clothes".
Good restaurants are aplenty, and I'm reliably informed that the "shopping is good".
A vibrant and trendy city that is a pleasure to visit.

Fabulous vibrant city and have to say my highlight was the Cavern Club the atmosphere was just amazing. Also the hop on hop off city tour was magnificent. Such a lovely city but I thought it was sad to see the disrespect shown with the huge amount of litter everywhere.

Liverpool has everything and is very manageable on foot. Of course we did the beetles thing but we so loved talking with the people. We loved visiting the churches whic we usually don’t do but the Anglican cathedral paddy wigwam then the bombed church was so moving. We loved Bolt street and pub hopping. We did not have a bad meal. This was our first vs and our friends questioned going here but now we will tell everybody. So happy to see this great city come into its owners

Great city plenty to explore.
Great city plenty to explore. Don't have breakfast in the hotels over priced and better spots around the city. For dinner, I'd recommend CowShed great steak house. Jurgens bierhaus bar across from Liverbuilding is great Liverpool bar. Albert Docks is also great spot for food drink and plenty gift shops.

Liverpool offers a variety of interesting places to visit, great range of restaurants and shopping experiences all within an easy walk of hotels, railway and bus stations for local travel. We visited new places this time. Crosby beach for a pleasant walk from the Sports Centre back to the Marina end taking in the Anthony Gormley Iron Men sculptures. Next day we took the train to Port Sunlight to admire this unique bijoux village and enjoy the Lady Lever Hume Gallery and Cafe. We ate at Cosy Club, and a wonderful Spanish Steak Restaurant. On a future visit we we would seek out new exciting places.

A brilliant city that I love with all my heart.
A brilliant city that I love with all my heart. I went to a footy game but I also didn't miss the chance to visit the waterfront, the churches, the museums, and a bit of fun at night. It is a delightful place to go to either have fun or with your children.
After London fireworks and concert were cancelled on new years eve. I have decided with my girlfriend to go to liverpool for firework display. We choose this hotel as it was cheapset good rated hotel. Staff member was nice to begin with. I could not remember the name of his but was very polite and helpful. Quickly have checked us into the hotel. Location was brilliant as it was only lile 5 minutes walk to albert docks which is what we wanted to see. Bed was very comfortable and provided us with standard coffee and cups.
Everything is damn good! The location is pretty awesome, just a few minutes from a lot of pubs, including the iconic The Cavern. But you can find the best pint of Guinness just downstairs, in the pub just outside the hotel.
The hotel is cozy and good and so does the staff. If you want to stay in the hearth of Liverpool, stay in this hotel.
Characterful old hotel within easy walking distance of Lime Street Station, city centre, docks and different cultural locations.
Single bedroom with shower quite small, but well equipped. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Quite quiet, despite being on one of main roads into city, as on a hill.
Great clean hotel in the best location close to Liverpool 1, docks, nightlife and eateries.
Felt safe and secure with key card access. Complimentary drinks and snacks were a lovely touch at 6pm (nice white wine). Will definately consider a return for our annual trip to Liverpool.
The room was small but comfortable we only did a short stay, Easy walk to the Albert Dock and Liverpool city centre. Breakfast was very good self service but food was hot and staff were excellent. Definitely recommend and we will go back to staynext time we are in Liverpool.
Amazing abode, very cozy and clean.
Felt like home away from home, like a 4 or 5 star hotel, lol.
Will surely return
Also close to Liverpool stadium and city centre, walking distance to train station.
Nice communication from host too.
Attractive, good sized room with comfortable bed. The room had an excellent view over the city and was quiet. Staff responded to concerns quickly. The hotel is very well situated for Liverpool city centre and docks.
We love the Aloft room style where the bed looks over the city! The breakfast was wonderful with a lot of choice and delicious full English breakfast items. The location is perfect for Liverpool city centre.
I've stayed here before and a lot of the time it's ridiculously cheap. It's a basic hotel five minutes walk away from the city centre and the two main train stations.
Staff are always pleasant.
Very nice hotel in a great location - only a few minutes' walk from Matthew Street, Albert Docks and the city centre.
It was a very large and comfortable room with a large bathroom.
In an excellent location - just across the road from the Arena and Docks and a short walk to main shopping area and city centre. The hotel was decorated for Eurovision which I liked!
Lovely hotel, clean and comfortable within walking distance of the docks and the city centre. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
