From the North:
from the a1 to the a59 to the City Centre, pass through City Walls, through the first set of traffic lights, at the second set of lights, turn right onto Skeldergate.
Or, from the a19 across the outer ring road (a1237) into York, passing the Theatre Royal. Turn right at the traffic lights, over the bridge to the next set of lights.
Turn left into George Hudson Street. Turn left at the next lights and first right to Skeldergate.
From the South:
M1 to A1(M), to A64 to A1036 slip road to City Centre. Pass through City Walls, through first set of traffic lights, at the second set of lights, turn right on to Skeldergate.
From the East:
A1079 to City Centre to Walmgate. Turn left and continue past the Barbican Centre.
Stay on the right and follow one-way system, keeping to the middle lane to the roundabout.
Continue to the next set of traffic lights passing Clifford's Tower on the right, follow the road over the bridge to the traffic lights and turn left in to Skeldergate.
